For any of you that have read my biog, Keep Moving or Die, you'll remember the chapters dedicated to my time spent living and working on cruise ships from 1988-1991. Yes I know, I can't believe I'm that old either. It was the end of possibly the most adventurous music and fashion scene ever, from Synth pop to punk music, Mohawks to cricket jumpers (Haircut 100 anyone?) to a recovering economy, reflected from Gordan Gekko's words in the 1987 film, Wall Street, 'Greed is good".

The photo above is from a filming base in Kent I was working out of a couple of weeks ago. A beautiful location, where the early morning sunshine really does make you feel lucky to be alive.


I've been busy... trying to get the author publishing club started but with little success. Who would've figured? Posters sent out to the council to put on their local notice boards, posters put up in a few shops and posters shared over Facebook message boards, but not one bite! I get it, I really do,...

A short blog this time round as I've been very busy getting ready to promote my new publishing club. For those directed here via my leaflets, posters or posts on social media, Welcome! Thanks also to those friends of mine that have already been supportive in the past and have helped yet again by delving into their impressive lists of people the local writing community.

So the plan at the moment is to draw up a list of those that have written at least one novel and are waiting to get it out...

New webpage - new begining? A while back I used to have a website dedicated

A while back I used to have a website dedicated to the Savant Press publishing set-up, but it kept getting hacked! I ended up with more attention from scammers in darkened rooms from dodgy locations than new readers. A sad reflection of our current times unfortunately and I'm constantly agitated by having to invent and remember passwords, even for the most basic of web activity. I wonder how I'll cope when I'm older and wiser but less aware.
