I've been incredibly busy in Gotham City... I think in Bruce Wayne's manor, but I can't be sure as it was all built in a sound stage at the Warner Brothers studios near Watford. It was part of my other life as a film extra, this time for The Batman 2, due to be released in February 2028. The hours are brutal with 480 extras doing about 60 hours in 4 days last week and 19.5 hours for me on Monday! I can't say much due to their NDA, which is a shame, as there is so much to say with so many great actors, and 2028 seems too long to spill the gossip, but that is deal on these things. It was good for the bank balance though and the company of the other SA's (support Artists) was excellent.

I also used it as a chance to meet new people, some of which have character traits good for any book, and a chance to make some good contacts, including an experienced producer now working for himself after losing his job like so many, during the Covid pandemic and now running solo. I asked him what projects he was working on and he told me he was excited about a Jack the Ripper project and his love of Crime Thrillers. The poor chap didn't stand a chance as I quickly thrust my Killing Time book business card into his hand. Apparently J the R is very popular at the moment. Good in that there is interest, bad in that there is more competition, but not like mine. Not with the detective questioning the Ripper's reincarnated victims. He was very interested in my first book too, with it's world of reincarnation. So of course he got a free copy... well, you never know.
